Trained with Sean again today.

Also became proficient at gliding ala Miss Congeniality. Mastered the C3PO walk. AWESOME.

We did Chest today, and I don't know half of the machines names, so we'll just agree that I worked out hard today :)

At Panera's right now.. Working on end of year reflections.. TOTALLY spying cookies and cakes from here. Not cool!

End of the year reflections. Well, sine I do not know if you are speaking about your health or school or work I will settle for health and offer my observations for you.

As you know, I've been around to see the many different methods you have used to reach the various health goals that you've given yourself.

You've experienced some incredible results and some that you were less than thrilled with. However, I would caution you against weighing one years accomplishments against another - different person, different dance.

I thin that, as a third party person looking from the outside in, I have a unique angle from which to write. Most may say that the years where you yielded the greatest physical results are to be your most productive but I am not of that group. I believe that your best year might probably be the past one - in which you dealt with more frustration and introspection than in any other time.

You see, while you could have been placed in a category with many other people of being steadily dieting you have shown a remarkable commitment beyond just so-called dedicated dieters. By this I mean that your focus is not merely dieting but becoming a much more well rounded individual. Oh, I know that this is not some "stated" goal - it is just my observation of a particular person on a particular quest.

When it got tough, you got tougher.

It is ok to freak out or question things, that is what is called being human. But, you've shown a remarkable tendency to grow mentally and emotionally - not just physically.

You've stayed the course.

So, as an observation to you, about you and for you, stay the course.

I believe in you...

love always,
Paul
